OVERLAND ORIGIN
Warranty Inspection & Repair Policy
At Overland Origin, we take pride in the quality of our workmanship and the products we install. We are committed to addressing legitimate warranty concerns professionally and fairly.
To ensure that all warranty claims are assessed correctly and handled consistently, the following conditions apply.
1. Warranty Inspections
All potential warranty claims must be reported directly to Overland Origin and are subject to an inspection before any warranty work is authorised.
All warranty inspections must be carried out by an authorised representative of Overland Origin. Inspections, assessments or diagnoses undertaken by independent garages, third-party workshops, engineers or other external organisations will not constitute warranty approval or replace our own inspection process.
Overland Origin reserves the right to inspect and assess any reported defect before determining whether the issue is covered under the applicable warranty.
2. Warranty Authorisation
No warranty repair, replacement or remedial work may be undertaken on behalf of Overland Origin without our prior written authorisation.
Any work carried out by a third party without prior written approval will not automatically qualify for reimbursement or warranty coverage.
3. Location of Warranty Repairs
All warranty repairs and remedial work approved by Overland Origin must be undertaken at our designated business premises.
Customers are responsible for arranging the return of their vehicle or relevant components to our premises for inspection and, where approved, warranty repairs, subject to their statutory rights.
Overland Origin does not authorise third-party workshops or external contractors to undertake warranty work on its behalf unless expressly agreed in writing.
4. Warranty Assessment
Following inspection, Overland Origin will determine whether the reported issue falls within the applicable warranty terms.
Where a valid warranty claim is confirmed, Overland Origin will arrange the necessary remedial work within a reasonable timeframe.
No warranty work will be agreed or scheduled until the required inspection and assessment have been completed.
5. Unauthorised Modifications & Third-Party Repairs
Any alterations, modifications, adjustments or repairs undertaken by third parties without prior written authorisation from Overland Origin may affect warranty coverage.
Where unauthorised work directly causes, contributes to or exacerbates a defect, Overland Origin reserves the right to decline warranty coverage for the affected components, systems or associated damage.
This includes, but is not limited to, modifications or interference involving electrical installations, plumbing, heating, structural components, vehicle mounting systems and integrated control systems.
Overland Origin will not accept responsibility under its voluntary warranty for defects or damage resulting from incorrectly performed third-party work.
Any subsequent warranty claim involving a vehicle or system that has undergone third-party modifications will remain subject to inspection and assessment by an authorised Overland Origin representative.
6. Statutory Rights
This policy does not exclude, restrict or affect any statutory rights customers may have under applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
Nothing in this policy prevents customers from obtaining independent advice, commissioning independent inspections or exercising their legal rights.
Where statutory rights require an alternative remedy or arrangement, those rights will take precedence over the procedures outlined above.
